It was probably inevitable, but I expected to last longer than a week after I first played the bloody thing. Paid more than the US retail price but it was the only way I was going to get one this side of Christmas.

Nah, I won’t get import duty. One of the benefits of YesAsia: they ship to their UK warehouse and then on to you, so they pay any duties.
I should also add that I’ve got Zelda and Trauma Center coming with that, but in a separate order.

Dude. Woolworths have had a ‘guaranteed for week of release’ banner for the Wii for about three months prior to release. Ordered two weeks ago and mine arrived 9am this morning.
But as I’ve said, there’s no way I’ll buy a UK Nintendo console. Ever. Looks like I’ve already been vindicated on that front.
In any case, my Wii shipped last night, so I should have it middle of next week. Yay!
